Samsung Tab A, Android 11. Same issue regards the app opens up but shuts down within about 4 to 5 seconds. I’ve rebooted the tab, deleted and reloaded the app but same problem exists. Also the RST field issue i was having before i can’t access the app now i narrowed down to when only one number is entered the app automatically adds another one, for example FT8 strength of negative 8 i would enter as -8 and there was no problem but for +8 i would enter 8 rather than go the extra step of +8. If i only enter 8, when i move on to the next field the app for example will just add a 3 to make my +8 sig strength go to 38.

Interestingly the app was working fine on my phone yesterday, samsung android, but today it crashes precisly when i attempt to add a POTA park. I can add a SiOTA silo with no issues, seems to only do it when i add POTA.
Interesting. So it’s not an OpenGL version issue.
Gonna have to try some other things.

David this is the auto complete feature for RST. It should be for phone and cw only but you have found that it tries to do it for FT8 as well.

@KI2D pre-12 - the app does not crash for me anymore when trying to view the map so maybe it’s fixed now

My first thought is ‘why would anyone want autofill on that’ doesn’t make sense to me, if I want to put a number in I would rather type it in as it would take less time doing that than having to go back deleting stuff just to reenter with correct info. Each to their own but not for me.

This is my entry screen:
For WWFF, exchange of RST is required.
For POTA, exchange of RST is NOT required.
Logging of RST and submission of RST for both WWFF and POTA respectively is NOT required. It is ignored if submitted.
The only RSTs I record (other than default values) in my log are FT8 which is done without my intervention, and my contest log exchanges.

You can also import an adif file from the WSJT-X for the activity during an activation.
I know it’s a fiddle to do the export etc. I often used the manual approach as well as I noted the callsigns being worked.

App is still crashing on start. Within 2 seconds, fires up, get the photo of Marty and then disappears.

OK, That’s a mystery. Do you know how to return it to the last stable release?

If you do get to see the splash screen, you can quickly tap on the “Portable Logger” part of the title (you should start tapping before it appears) and you’ll get an “use in case of emergency” dialog that lets you change update tracks, and backup your database.

as said earlier the “Portable Logger” part of the splash screen does not appear, it shuts down before. So no chance to downgrade😕
