Latest Ham2K update is not working anymore

Today I did a Sota activation with my tablet. The Polo app version was March 25. I deliberately didn’t update it on this tablet yet. Logging worked fine. At home, I wanted to open the app, but it no longer works! I didn’t update it. Is it possible that the app itself updated itself? This is, of course, very annoying, since all my QSOs are now gone. 73 Roger

A helpful hint… before I leave the summit I export my activator log to Dropbox and I take a screenshot/s of the log.

I have no Dropbox… But the screenshot option is a very good idea. Thank you very much for this information. :metal:

you can also share the exported log into your email. It will go out when you get back in range if you are not already on air.

If you had activated the sync option, your QSOs may be on the sync server and be able to be retrieved. (Assuming you were online during the activation).

Thanks for the Information. But in this case, i can not open the polo app- The app is not longer works :tired_face:

you may not have lost any data then.
you can quickly tap on the “Portable Logger” part of the title (you should start tapping before it appears) and you’ll get an “use in case of emergency” dialog that lets you change update tracks, and backup your database.
You can downgrade to a previous version.

Send me an email at help@ham2k.com with a message indicating what is the email address of the account you use to sign up at the Google Play Store, so I can add you to a special test group for a special version of the app to see if we can figure out what causes the crashes.

I solved it for me: bought a new Samsung Active Tab 5, all is fine now👍
