Latest Ham2K update is not working anymore

Since I can’t open the app, I have no access to the settings…

Of course - yes. Seems strange.
Do you have data you need to protect? or can you try uninstall and re-install?
Alan

I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but unfortunately, to no avail…

How about seeing if you can downgrade the pre9:
If you do get to see the splash screen, you can quickly tap on the “Portable Logger” part of the title (you should start tapping before it appears) and you’ll get an “use in case of emergency” dialog that lets you change update tracks, and backup your database.
You can downgrade to a previous version
Alan

I already deinstalled the old version and tried to install pre9, no luck

yes but I mean revert to pre8 or before

@HB9HUP do you mind contacting me on Discord to try to debug this issue?

@DJ2GMS just to be clear, in your case the problem is that you cannot install the latest pre9 version, right? The Google Play Store will not offer it to you for installation.

This is different from @HB9HUP’s problem where it gets installed, but crashes, right?

I even do not see this text. Where can I download pre8?

No, I can download it and than install it without an issues. But when I start it the splash screen appears but before any text appears the app shuts down without any Information.

@KI2D I downloaded the Polo app from another Samsung tablet (April pre3 version) to the A8 tablet via Smart Switch. The app is currently installed in April pre5 version. It’s working so far.

I pushed a new version to Google Play, should be listed as 25.3.101… can you try to update to that version and see if it works?

Updated to 25.3.101, but it is still not working.

Still not working

Can you (@HB9UP, @DJ2GMS, or anyone else seeing crashes when starting pre7 or later) install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cpuid.cpu_z&hl=en and look in the “system” tab for information about “OpenGL ES”?

I want to determine if the crash is limited to devices with versions of OpenGL ES lesser than 3.2

Actually, this other app might work better: “GLView Extension Viewer”

If you can, share a screenshot of the information on GLView, or at least the details on Android Version, API Level and OpenGL version.

It is showing OpenGL Es 3.2:
