PoLo on iPhone doesn’t start after latest update

Fired up the app just now, there was an update available (the yellow in app button). Pressed upgrade, the app restarted and now just shows the loading background, no text appears. After 30 seconds or so, the app quits completely. Have tried starting a few times and rebooted my phone, with no difference.
I’m loathe to delete the app to reinstall it, and then lose my logbooks and all the settings.

Same issue here.

Same here. I’m wondering whether I can rescue today’s 20 contacts.

Mine as well. And I deleted it along with data and tried to reinstall. Update causes same issue!

Same issue exactly. I had three activations to download off the app. :confounded:

I’ve got about 185 contacts that could be lost. :expressionless:

Same issue on my iPhone and my iPad. Can’t access two activations in two hard to get to parks.

I just finished a POTA activation, and the app is doing the same thing as everyone else, Its keeps crashing and will not boot up.

I pushed a new patch update. Can you see if it works?

The app itself won’t self update, it hangs before that. No update in the App Store in the UK for the app at this time.

I’m preparing a full update (via app stores) to fix this. But it has to be reviewed and approved by apple and google, so it might take a few hours.

Lost all previous contacts. Nothing like starting all over again. Someone tell Houston we have a problem!

Ipad user here. Same here. Deleted the app and my operation history is gone. All the created adif logs are still on my Ipad. Trying to get them reloaded. I love talking to contacts and tell them how many times we’ve made contact previously. I hope I dont have to start over. Anyone know how to reload my operation history on an Ipad, please reply. Thank you

Reconstructing all past operations might not be possible at the moment.

But if what you want is to see if you’ve contacted someone in the past, and how many times, you can get this by loading a single ADIF with all your QSOs in the “Import History from ADIF” option on the Data Settings screen.

Thanks for the fast response. I’ll give that a try. Thank you very much.

It worked. Got an ADI file from my QRZ account. It up loaded just fine. think I’m better off than before. Thanks again.

I couldn’t get it to work. Thanks for trying!

Still waiting for Apple to review the release.

I guess they don’t work on Sundays?

How can I get the .adif file for my activation yesterday? Is it possible without having the app open??? Also, will this new fix to the app be able to retrieve all the new and existing QSO’s??? Why did this happen to the app? This is a great creation for logging QSO’s you need to make it bulletproof!!!

Apple finally approved the release at 5am ET this morning.

Go get your update in the AppStore.
