I have been using PoLo now for some time and like it very much.
II saw the a request earlier about rsgb-144mhz-backpackers-contest and found it to be almost the same as what I wanted to have. Swedish Amateur Society, SSA, have two portable contest each year with growing number of participants each year and it would be nice to leave the paper logs behind.
Contest exchange are are based on TX and RX_PWR, serves as multiplier, the lower the power the higher multiplier, and distance bewteen the two GRIDSQUARE. (TX/RX_PWR will be a decimal number 1 to 4) In the ADIF definition it is defined in Watts. In this contest the definition is
• Mult. 01: More than 20 W
• Mult. 02: 5 – 20 W
• Mult. 03: 1 – 5 W
• Mult. 04: Less than 1 W
The distance between two GRIDSQUARE must be on miles (100km = 10miles) And later multiplied with TX_PWR (My stations output power).
This is how the log input looks like. Since MY_GRIDSQURARE is fixed it might no be necessary to display.
