I have enabled FreeDV as a mode. I have selected it. But when I spot, it does not go into the comment or the mode field of the spot and thus it comes thru on the POTA website as a blank comment and gets interpreted as SSB.

Sounds like a POTA.app problem
It could be - this is a memory jog for more testing

We’re sending the mode as selected in the UI. It’s POTA.app that fails to recognize it.
It’s possible that the POTA API wants us to send the mode and submode? but since it’s not documented, it’s hard to know what they expect and what are the allowed values.
