Looks like it is not possible to log two different WFF parks simultenously, as it is possible with POTA.
Maybe that can be implemented as well.
Thanks
Jens
Hi Jens
I’ve just checked the WWFF Rules and they state that only one reference can activated simultaneously.
Is it something else you are looking for?

Thank you did, not realize that.

I suggest to always read the rules although they have many pages - simply to know the do’s and don’ts.
E.g. never mention WWFF in the POTA environment since this is forbidden by their rules. Who would ever know that without reading the rules? But they have already banned hobby friends for that.

This is not true anymore Diz
Alan
So why do they have it then in their rules on their website . . . ?
73, DIZ
Can you direct me to the rules url which contains the letters “WWFF”?
Alan
Agree, could cot find anything that a POTA and simultenous WWFF activation is not allowed by the POTA rules.
Please advice if I am wrong. Tnx
There is no such rule. One program cannot make rules for another.
The closest I have heard is that in Greece, the WWFF admins try assert some unwritten “agreement” that if you want to do both, you will do one program on one day and the other program on the next day.
Absolutely absurd.
Since Jason has handed the reigns to Rick as POTA Owner/Administrator, there is no issue talking about either program together in forums of any kind.
I have always activated both programs simultaneously. I call CQ PARKS.
There are some rules which are different between the programs and it is, of course, necessary to abide by them e.g. no 2fers in WWFF etc.
That’s all.
Alan
Thanks Alan, but what is meant by “not true anymore”? There are 2 things here in this thread:
a) activation of only one WWFF reference at the same time;
b) mentioning WWFF on POTA websites.
Ad a)
This was the question of Jens DJ2GMS here in this thread. I’ve just seen, simply by chance, that this question was a topic already earlier. Cf. message Wwff only allowing 1 reference - that thread also mentions para 3.6 regarding area inclusions.
Ad b)
I can still simply read that now in their Code of Conduct on the pota.app website, cf. Code of Conduct - Parks on the Air Documentation. WWFF is not mentioned explicitly, but it is a “other portable park operation program”. Thus, there are very subtle possibilities to exclude something unwanted. Such is always possible, hi.
This is mandatory since only registered participants can fully take part in the POTA programme. I discourage therefore mentioning e.g. a WWFF reference in a POTA spot, since these are all displayed on a POTA website. As soon as this paragraph has been deleted (and only then), I will change my opinion. Maybe you have more intimate knowledge of related details not yet disclosed to the public. Simple users like me are lost in such spider webs of arbitrage.

It might be still in their rules but since some times there’s no POTA ban on WWFF anymore. Trust me … even I’m back allowed to POTA ! And I was banned for a long time! The POTA board changed and the evils are gone. Fortunatly. 73 44 ON4VT aka OT4V
Markus,
The WWFF rules regarding 1 reference at a time is a WWFF rule and still applies. There is no such thing as a 2-fer in WWFF.
As far as Code of Conduct. As also mentioned here and elsewhere, since Jason has handed things over to Rick, this “code” is no longer being applied. It should, I agree, be removed from the documents. But proof is in the pudding so to speak. It is no longer “a thing” to avoid mentioning WWFF in any online forum or on-air whilst also speaking about POTA.
Alan
for all those interested. I have requested and had it confirmed that this bullet point will be removed from the POTA Code of Conduct.
Alan
Perfect Alan. You are great! Thank you so much for all your support:+1:

Thanks, Alan, great news. Special thanks for having liaised with them.
Having worked in my former live in finance, compliance and tax, I have respect for visible rules or codes of conduct. So I can’t simply jump over my shadow and will wait for the update. That will be also a plus for the POTA program, since such funny regulations can imply a reputation risk.
