Crashing, Rebooting and Re-asking for Call Sign, modes on splash page. Settings are not getting saved.
This has happened on rare occasions. The cause has yet to be found.
It causes no ill harm to your data, you do, however, need to adjust your settings back to the way you prefer them.

Can you let us know what exact device and OS you are running please?

I probably didn’t describe the issue adequately. This happens every time I load the program. “Welcome to PoLo….Skip…Continue”. Then settings like mode, bands, qrz login are all gone. No issues with other apps. Switching back to HAMRS for now.
Note: Nokia G310 5G, Android v13
Kevin, what is your callsign? I’ll see if I can find something in the error logs.
Also, did you try uninstalling the app and installing it again?

Not sure what changed but this appears to be resolved.
I could not figure out exactly what was causing your crashes.
I did correct some issues in the meantime that might have been related?
Anyways, I’m glad that it’s working for you now.
Give it a stress test and let me know if you run into any issues.

I am having a similar issue with my Samsung Tab A9+ running Android 15 with One UI 7.0 . The tablet has 8 Gb of memory. I will be in the middle of a logging session ( not necessarily entering any data at the time), when the app will crash and restart with the splash screen and I will have to select the operation again. This will happen with the tablet just sitting, I am not entering any data at the time. I will be hunting POTA at the time, I will select a spot, it will fill in the callsign on the log screen while I am waiting to make a call, the the app will then restart on its own. I dont loose any data, after I reselect the operation after the restart it will take me right back to the exact screen with the call sign in the logging field as if nothing happened.
This crash/restart has happened several times on both Oct 8th and again this evening on Oct 10th while running the General Operation Template while hunting. My call sign is KY4ROD if you need to check the logs. I am running the current Sept 25 release Patch 2. Ver 25.9.2

I regret to report the issue of erased settings is back.
I had this issue here today. Had logged 4 QSOs on a summit when the yellow/brown window presented the update September ‘25 patch 3. Never ever having a problem on that, I tapped on Yes. Afterwards I received the landing page to enter my callsign and name - like for a fresh installation. I didn’t dare to use it then since I didn’t want to overwrite/loose production data. Continued on the iPhone instead. Didn’t have the info then that nothing is lost beside the settings.
This happened on a Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. That one had been updated to One UI 8 (Android 16) 3 days ago – never this problem before on Android 15.

It has happened on one of my devices a few times. The device I use in production has not has the issue. But settings will soon be stored in the database instead of on the device which should solve it.
