Question re: importing adif log data

Hi, I’m just working on setting up POLO for the first time.

I’m trying to import my past history (currently maintained in Log4OM v1). I exported an version3 ADIF from Log4OM. I checked the file, and the dates look good there (YYYYMMDD format), all dates from 2015 and 2016. However, POLO is showing them all as 1st Jan 1970 (I’m attempting to attach a screenshot).

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Could you share a sample line from your ADIF?

Thanks! I’m getting a message that new users cannot upload attachments. I tried pasting in the text, and got a message that new users cannot include more than two links in a post. How do I get approved for uploading?

I’ve “upgraded” you, so hopefully you can now

Thanks! Here’s a sample file with six records from different parts of the original file.

I think the issue may be the time format. It should be HHMMSS or HHMM, but in your sample file they look at bit odd e.g. <TIME_ON:6>0:2100 and <TIME_ON:6>20:430

Ok, I’ll try changing that. I tried deleting records imported from adif, but all 47 are still showing up in POLO.

The option to delete them went away, but all 47 qsos are still showing in POLO, even after rebooting my phone.

What am I doing wrong?

There is no function to delete ALL QSOs from an operation in PoLo. You can only “mark” them deleted.
Your advice in this instance is to delete the operation and re-create it.
Then import the correctly formatted ADIF file.
As @M1SDH said, the time was incorrect in your sample.

Thanks - I had missed the step of creating the operation and then importing the adif from the operation - I had used the import on the data menu.

The import into History is for the purpose of historical data lookups and statistics. It is not there for any operation data and has no concept of segmented operations or park reference data.
There is limited use for such imports and you cannot review this data once imported.
Good Luck
