I went out to Pota today and now that I’m home I remember why I looked for a different logging program
It’s more of a pain then it’s worth trying to log from the ham2k on this tablet then it’s worth
Totally helpful post, why not tell us what your issues are and maybe we can help you work thru them.
Unless something constructive is added to this initial post, I shall be unlisting it. At the moment it is serving no purpose.

True sorry was getting very frustrated.
My logging tablet is a IRIS and i cant get anything to cooperate between the tablet and pota upload or tablet and anything to be honest.
I have tried saving the file, tried sharing the file tried everything i can find on the subject in google and its just being a pain.
Now if i log with WRL that goes through fine, but I love the fact i can look up POTA parks specific on HAM2K touch the spot and all i gotta do is fill in the report and hit return. But dont do me any good if i cant get the dang log out of the tablet!
I realize the upload issue isnt the developers fault as they have no control over the underlying process that keeps changing but its frustrating to go out have 25 QSO and a fun awsome activation and have to fight tooth and nail to upload the logbook
I think you are meaning that you wish to log QSOs, finalize the log, export it from PoLo to ADIF, then upload it to POTA all from the tablet.
And I have to say I am unfamiliar with IRIS tablets but google says they are very good value albeit may be lower specification than many other makes/models.
Assuming this is correct: There are 2 possible issues which have given some people some difficulty with this.
First, some devices are not able to give access to a local file system. Exporting or sharing is limited to sending it to yourself via email, or exporting to a cloud service (dropbox, google drive, onedrive etc).
Secondly, depending on the screen size/resolution of your screen the POTA website does not immediately present you with the desktop view/version of it and thus the upload function is not visible. If this is the case, users need to select “Show Desktop site” from the browser menu, turn their device to landscape and zoom out of the website to give access to the upload features.
The first recommendation I have with this is to use a cloud service which not only gives access to the ADIF file from the browser but also allows retrieval of the ADIF file from a desktop workstation when and if required.
And also ensure that your device is able to provide access to the POTA website in the form described above. If this is not possible due to device constraints then there is little that can be done here.

Yes trying to access the file it won’t do it. I have to email it to myself, save it, figure out were this thing stuck it away at then try to get it logged in POTA. Like I said it’s not the developers fault and it came off that way, it’s a awesome piece of software just not for this stupid (smart) tablet
If you are using the email transport method, when you download an attachment from emails, it normally goes to your Downloads folder which is accessible from File Manager Application in the Android environment.

Ya i forgot how much you had to go through just to transfer it to my N3FJp log.
If you use a cloud service, it’s two steps. I export from the device, (step 1). And then when I get home it’s already on my PC in the usual directory and step 2 is file import.
Alan
I had read that before.
I tried to set up the cloud but have no clue what i was doing so i quit before i totally messed things up
We’re working on a sync service for PoLo which should make this process a lot less painful.
Just give us some time to iron out (most of) the bugs
