When I open a previous activation and select Operation - Use as template, Start an operation with similar settings the park numbers for the activation I selected are not used.
Is that intentional? I regularly activate in some very large parks, the closest park (which seems to be picked) is almost never the one I’m actually in.

Intentional I’m afraid, Templates are for the type of operation and also the callsign setup of the operation. The exact park or reference numbers are not part of the template.
For many operators, if the template list was unique for every park reference, then they would have a template list as long as their list of operations. It would be unworkable.
But you are probably right, if you are selecting a previous operation to basically copy it, then you should pick up the references as well…
