I fell on a trail with my Android phone in my back pocket. The case cracked, but the phone still works. I have a new phone now. How to transfer operations to a new phone?
Thanks

You could go into an existing operation on the old phone or create a new one and enter the callsign: konami
That will turn on developer mode. Now go back to your list of operations and hit the cog in the upper right of the screen and you’ll see a new menu item; “Developer Settings”. In that menu is an option to “Export Database”. Do that and save it off to location like your Google Drive.
On your new phone, install Ham2K and create an operation and again enter konami in as a callsign to enable the developer mode on the new one. Go back to the cog and the developer settings and now select “Replace Database”. Pick the file you saved on Google Drive and everything will load up. This works between multiple devices and platforms. I have an Android Phone, Android Tablet and an iPhone and I use this to keep the info the same between all of the devices. I also export my entire ADI log from QRZ and import that as “Import History from ADIF” to help with offline callsign to name lookups when I’m off grid. The export and replace database will also import that information. Good Luck and happy hamming! KK7PZE
Okay, done!
Now, how to turn off Developer Mode?
Thanks

Too bad about your fall, but hope you like the new phone ![]()
I expect this process will be a lot easier with the Cloud Sync feature coming soon.
Thank you Frank, worked like a charm. You gave excellent instructions.
