MYGRID not included in SOTA Hunted log (when chasing)

When I’m chasing SOTA activators I typically set my operation’t Location based on Device GPS, and I typically export the logs to a Mac and then upload the “SOTA Hunted” log to sotadata.

Once I had logged a VHF CW chase (for the 2026 challenge) and uploaded the “SOTA Hunted” log to sotadata I noticed I hadn’t gotten credit for any chases in the challenge.

Eventually I figured out that the MYGRID field is not being included in the “SOTA Hunted” log file when I’m chasing (I have no summit ref), though it is included in the SOTA log file in these two scenarios:

  1. when I activate (setting a SOTA summit reference in my operation) and
  2. it’s included in each line of the “Full” log file
