Lookup all QSOs and showing QRZ.com infos slow

Hello,

since yesterday I notice that Lookup all QSOs created a new log with 237 entries and showing QRZ.com infos during entering a QSO which showed very fast the time before are now very slow.

I think you are saying that a Lookup all QSOs procedure is slower than it was previously.
I will take a look at this and try myself.
Can you tell me how many times you ran the procedure and how long you think it took to do 237 lookups?
Currently there is no definitive way to monitor the progress of this procedure. That is coming soon.
I just did an operation of 116 and it if for sure, not a fast procedure. It took maybe 3-4 minutes for my 116.
But until we have a way to show progress and completion, it is hard to compare subsequent attempts.
I can confirm, however, that at least the operation does complete and is valid for QRZ lookups.

After five hours watching this issue today it works again as expected. I think there was some kind of system bottleneck since yesterday.

5 hours of watching?
What exactly were you watching?
Alan

If you use this feature, I would highly recommend you having HamDB and HamQTH services disabled.
Once of these is notoriously slow.
Stick to QRZ only if you can.
Alan

Yes, I already had not noticed this in the last weeks.

I was looking at my log in the app again and again. After five hours suddenly it was running as it should (did‘nt finish the hours before). - not all flags, not the desired country count and not the full map markings.

OK thanks for the update.
I’d leave it all to QRZ I think.
PoLo has one of the Ham lookups by default and we may be overloading that system.
Alan

All calls entered in POLO now take a very long time to get info from QRZ. 30 seconds to over a minute.

I certainly cannot duplicate this as an issue at my location at the moment, running October 25 patch 6 on both iOS and Android.

Could you confirm a couple of things. Do you have a paid subscription to QRZ? or free?

If free. Are you aware that there is a daily limit to QRZ lookups on the free account? so do you have gut feel for how many lookups you have made this day?

Finally can you confirm that you have a solid network connection from the device?
