Logging seem to give wrong country icon and uses wrong pota details

Hi

I am using PoLo on OSX (macbook) with bleeding edge settings.

Today I noticed a couple of logged QSO’s showing wrong country icon and also using park details when other op was, e.g. at home QTH.

in screenshot below notice the M3 station (England) showing German flag, and the M9 station (England) showing Irish flag. Further down you can see the M9 station is logging as a POTA site but they were at home QTH. I could not find a way to override the details imported.

Note same sort of thing for M3SNT (Graham - he was not operating a forest in .de.

Note I had clicked on a german station hoping to work them….QSO was not completed.

David,

If you tap a spot intending to work someone, then just overtype the callsign field with a new call, the references will not reset - by design PoLo retains the spot details.

If this is what you did, use the backspace button to wipe the spot details first, then enter a new callsign.

In this example, I tapped spot from Hawaii and then changed their callsign to yours…

OK thanks Alan, a little counter intuative but makes sense. I must read some more of the very fine manual :wink:
