OK well this is kinda counter to the way PoLo was designed. Not to say that it is wrong but PoLo was designed to have distinct operations associated with an “activity”. And a new day is not quite what was in mind as a “new activity”.
While I keep looking at the missing ones and thinking of reason for their absence… can you tell me why you want 2958 QSOs on your phone. what’s the overall benefit?

But 3000 qso’s are fore
When you make a new qso, and you work him/her in the past… you known.
Worked before!
or was the app not intended for that?
it is a logbook but only for that day or period.

I find it easier to backup up your PoLo ssqlite database complete, then re-load it into my phone.
It then has the same operation breakdown as my tablet but can still be interrogated.
It is also a complete backup copy on my phone which I do no use for portable ops by choice.
