I use PoLo for portable operations and this is how the mission for PoLo was initiated.
I also use it for hunting when I am not activating. I simply hit the new operation button to start one for the day. Yes, you would get a Dupes warning if your operation goes over UTC days, but this warning only and can just be ignored, it won’t stop you logging. You can just considered it a reminder.
As for re-spotting of other OPs, this feature is already underway:
Highlighting needed parks may come in the future after the full desktop version comes out. There may be ways of keeping your needed parks available and sending that list to the device.
It may happen but it won’t be here very quickly.
