Flag of Northern Ireland is missing

Hi all,

on my last SOTA activation I tried Ham2K for the first time and I have to say I’m very impressed on how good this app works. Thanks to the developer for such a nice tool! When logging a QSO with a GI-station I noticed that the flag of Northern Ireland seems to be missing. Not a big issue, just wanted to let you know.

There is no one universally accepted flag for Northern Ireland so I think that’s why it has the question mark.

I wondered that the flag was missing because in SOTL.as there is a flag for NI.

Did a bit of reading on Wikipedia about the history of the flag in NI and have to say that the “?” flag is probably a good choice …

This is actually what the official Unicode Emoji flag set defines.

If Unicode ever decides on what to show for this flag, and the phone manufacturers include it in their emoji set, PoLo will show it right away.
