December 24 - Lost Log

Never happend to me before.
I was on a SOTA activation yesterday, I think about 14 QSO.
Yesterday evening I had a look at the log… it was still there in POLO.

Today, everything in gone. No clue to what happened.
Currently in bleeding edge.

Can you enable Developer Mode (Developer Mode | Ham2K Portable Logger) and then go to Developer Settings, select “Export Database” and email me the resulting “polo.sqlite” file?

I can see if the operation data is still there.

Also, can you send me the exact version of the app you’re running?

Hi Sebastian,
I’m running version 24.12.1.1 (Build 24.12.0). I have already checked the SQLite database and found nothing about this activity.
Although I’m 100% sure I did not consciously delete the activity, it’s possible that some unfortunate ‘phantom touch’ caused it.
Most importantly, I was able to recover almost everything using the SOTAdata function that shows who logged you. At the moment, I’m only missing two QSOs out of 14

Thanks again for POLO!

Yeah, the “delete this operation” is the only feature of the app that actually deletes data.

With the upcoming sync service, and some other changes, I will make it reversible.

Also, if you enable Developer Mode, you can enable the sync service and start testing some features. Right now it will save all QSOs you make to the cloud, so it’s a good backup in case something goes wrong.

Will do, thanks!
