Contest logging

I would like to use PoLo for logging when I am operating portable during a contest. Is there a straightforward way to enter exchange data? I know I can open the window to the detailed fields, but would prefer not to have to do that for every Q. It would also be nice if dupe checking were immediate upon callsign entry.
Will PoLo export the exchange adif fields?
I am particularly interested for the ARRL DX SSB contest this weekend.

It’s obviously too late for this weekend.

I’d love to add full support for all types of contests, and we’ve started with QSO Parties already. But in the meantime I’ve been thinking about a “Simple Generic Contest” activity that provides a plain exchange field.

It would export to ADIF using the SRX_STRING and STX_STRING fields, and maybe even a generic cabrillo (is there such a thing?) that you can then modify to whatever the contest required.

And like you suggested, simple dupe checking.

Can you think of any other features? Keeping track of sequence numbers would be nice too.

In Germany we have Contests with exchange of the Local Club number ore qth Locator It would be very interesting if I could enter the data in additional fields using a Contest Login Mode

I just finished a first pass at this Simple Contest mode. It will be part of the March '25 - pre 2 release in a couple of days

A generic contest logger would be a great thing.
At minimum, have one (preferably two) configurable exchange fields. And dupe checking of a call, configurable to be once per contest, or once per band, or once per band and mode. This could possibly just be a list of prior contacts.
ADIF export, then could import into a full contest program like N1MM+ for scoring and Cabrillo file generation. I used my polo log this weekend, and just edited the adif exchange field using ADIF Master to match what N1MM wants.

Yes! Dupe checking for per band/mode and automatic serial number would be really cool.
