Configuring for local contest

I used Polo today for the first time. It is a very impressive app. I was logging the RSGB 2m. UKAC contest. The exchange is RS, serial number, 6 character locator. I could not see how to configure for this exchange. Any help appreciated. Nolly53. GI7CMC

Have you enabled the Generic Simple Contest and set the Contest Identifier and Exchange Sent information?

Hi Alan,

Thanks for getting back to me. I set up a simple contest. I was able to log Their Call, Sent (RS), Rcvd(RS), Exchange. In the exchange box I put Serial number, followed by a comma and then their locator. I would really like to set up a separate box for their locator. Can that be done?

There are only a few contest templates available in PoLo at this time. If none of them suit then you may have to wait until further development comes thru.

There is no way to “customise” field entry beyond what you see. You may be able to use the Notes field for your purposes.
