And here we go with the August release.

The most significant change is under the hood, where we upgraded to React Native 0.80 which might (maybe, just maybe) fix the crashes we’ve been seeing with some Samsung Tablets and other devices.

As of pre 2, the changes include:

  • Experimental WaveLog support
  • WWBOTA now works across borders
  • New POTA should no longer appear as “unknown” if you are online

With more to come before we make this release official.

I’ve not had any issues with my (non-Samsung!) Pixel 9a phone, the app just works, and very well. I used it on a recent trip to France on a number of POTA activations.

Very many thanks for the app which I think is becoming the standard for portable logging.
