Add the Callsigns Prefix

Hi All thanks for the great App. I use it for Sota Activations.

When i use a Sota Reference in CW, its normally that i get a Pile Up.

Often i hear when different Stations call me onlythe Suffixes and not the complete Callsings

For Example i her only LNE when many Stations calls me to the same tim… So i write LNE into the Callsing field, the i give LNE with my Paddle and the full Callsing SM5LNE come back.

Now it is the time to enter the full callsing. I have to delete the Suffix LNE and type in SM5LNE.

My Question how is it possible to add the Präfix when i tipped in the Suffix ? Is it possible the jump into the Callsignfield to the Beginn to add Präfixes to complete the Callsing?

I can tap anywhere into the callsign box to correct mistakes. I’m not sure why it is not working for you.

Also it might help to be aware of the callsign stacking method of recording callsign snippets.
You can skip to 28:24 in this video for a worked example

Thanks Dank.

Can you send me the link from the video?

Just click on it - see above

I have watched the video and tested it again

Also I have try the stacks

It is not possible to jump at the Beginn of the call when I switch to the send field, than it is possible to tip in the Beginn of the Field from the Callsign ?

Evtl a Bug ?

If I long press on anything in the “Their Call” I get the normal large view of teh edit field which allows me to slowly move a cursor along the edit field to the position I wish to type or delete characters.
Do you not have this normal edit ability? With a long press?
Alan

Thanks Alan.

With my iPhone the size from the window their call hold the same size with long press

On iOS, if you press on the spacebar and hold on for a second, the keyboard “greys out” and you can now drag your finger to move the cursor around.

On Android most keyboards provide similar mechanisms. Google’s default G-Board does it.
