Why does Polo show here 2 summit symbols? I can’t imagine a real reason for doing so, so I suggest to eliminate this bug. One can’t activate two summits at the same time.
When I select Beppe’s spot, the S2S box shows 2x I/VE-273 what makes no sense, either. The ADIF export only exports one time this reference, so that part is correct.
But “indignation”? No. That is quite far away from my experience/mood with this topic. I’m not a native speaker, and my tools translate it is a strong word. That was not the case. Too bad we don’t know each other personally!

It has a habit or expressing outrage and insult in regard to things which should just be courteous information.

Thanks, Alan. I think we are both on the good side regarding language and translation, so don’t worry. But an international environment like here with non-native speakers sometimes leads to communication problems that you wouldn’t normally think of. This is usually word-dependent, and (in)dign* is in a tricky area.
Either way – thanks for the dialog and especially to all of you for the good software. I like using it (and also like looking closely, hi).
There is already de-duplication logic in the spots module.
So this issue is going in the “watch and see” category.
