I have a Galaxy tablet that the new update no longer works on and I cannot get the older one to work again the splash screen comes up with non of the previous text as before then appears to just shut down…
There is a PoLo Lite version under test at the moment which hopefully addresses device constraints being stressed with the new version.
It should be available shortly.

Hello you sent me the link yesterday for the polo light version I installed it yesterday and everything seemed to work ok the only thing I have seen so far is the GPS part says it has a error when trying to get your location but I was going to look after work today to make sure it has the permissions to make sure that wasn’t the problem before letting you know

On my Samsung A9 tablet, following the last update, a Lite version was installed.
At the last operation everything worked fine, but the maps tab had disappeared. Is there any adjustment to be made in order to have maps available again?
Your device specification is, in theory, too low for the full version.
But this wasn’t necessary for my TabA7 either because it never crashed with the full version. So @KI2D lowered the spec that PlayStore allowed the full version to install for me.
Can you give us the exact model of your device? It’s in the About Tablet section.

The maps is precisely the feature on “regular PoLo” that was causing tablets with low memory to crash, so this is the tradeoff we had to make on the Lite version for it to work again.
You can try newer versions of “regular PoLo” to see if they no longer crash on your device.
Or you can try uninstalling other apps that might be consuming memory.
I purchased a Tab A9 with only 3GB of RAM to test PoLo and it does not crash, but I have not installed anything else on it. Alan’s Tab also seems to work fine. So perhaps you can experiment with what’s running on your device and see what the results are. And if you do, please report back!

1.) Attached you will find the version of my tablet with 8Gb Ram and 128Gb memory
2.) To avoid any misunderstandings, since purchasing the tablet on April 26, 2025, and installing HAM2K, the tablet has never crashed. All functions were available and everything worked, including maps.
It was only during the last update that the maps tab disappeared.
3.) I’d like to try the regular version. However, on Google Play, I can’t choose the version (Regular or Lite).
Can you give me instructions on how to modify or install the regular version? For this modification, how can I save the existing operations?

Christian, can you please confirm how much RAM your tablet has? The specs available online for the SM-X110 with 128GB of storage say that it can have either 4 or 8 GB of RAM.
I’d like to know if the crash happens on 8GB, since I’ve been assuming the problem was with 3 or 4 GB models.
I think I know what happened. It should be fixed by the 25.4.7 update that you’ll have to download from the Play Store. You can check for pending updates in the Play Store (not on PoLo) to make it happen sooner.

Where can i find the “patch 7” update? On my Play Store i see only the regular Polo version 25.5.901. The Light-Version isn’t there… 73 Roger
@HB9HUP that’s because you are on the test program and you get the May version. All this discussion was for the April one.
