I have frequently found that I would find an activator contact the activator to find. Not only that they had one or maybe two parks that I didn’t know about. Is there some way that Polo could possibly make it so that on the spotting page we could see information as the person’s call sign along with even just the number of parks they have so that when we tap on that contact all of their parks can get populated?
Please and thank you.
PS. I know it might have to do with issues of being respotted and the re-spoter does not spot all the parks but I thought I’d ask for verification.
The spotting page does indeed carry multiple parks for an activator. This is an example of 1 POTA and 1 WWFF. When 2 or 3fer POTA are being activated, the number of POTA trees will reflect the number of parks
When an activator is on a SOTA summit it will show that information as well - a summit icon.
When you tap on this spot, your log entry is prefilled with all the references.
PoLo also provides for backfilling a QSO. If you edit a QSO and there is a current spot for that person containing references you do not have, PoLo will back fill the references into your QSO.
This can be done from spots which are posted “correctly”. But PoLo can’t invent this information from nothing.
Thank you. I am comforted to know this now.
I suppose many of the spotters don’t include all the initial information of the original activated…which is a real drag for the activator
If everyone used PoLo we would have all these features. If 2 OPs activate a 3fer together using one device on PoLo, one spot from PoLo would be the equivalent of 6 spots from other loggers.
But alas, it’s taking time to convert everyone over.
